How to use an embroidery thread for quilting?

Step 1:  Gather your materials: - Sewing machine, embroidery thread, fabric for binding, mat, ruler, cutter, pins and clips, needle, and batting.

 

Step 2: Choose a pattern: - In case you are a beginner make sure to choose a simple pattern. You can choose an intricate pattern if you are experienced with basic embroidery techniques. Make sure to sketch out your pattern on a piece of paper.

 

Step 3: Wash your fabric: - Make sure to wash the fabric that you would like to coordinate on. This process ensures the removal of dirt and removes any marks that may confuse you during the stitching phase.

Step 8: Basting: - Line up all the sides of the fabric and iron it to get rid of any wrinkles.

 

Step 9: - Sew the remaining pieces: - Once your basting process is complete use your sewing machine to sew the fabric together.

 

Step 10: Binding: - Make sure your seams are even before bolding the binding behind your quilt and then sewing the binding together.
